An eVTOL start-up needed a process to create and release parts from EBoM to MBoM, eliminating the manual maintenance their production control team had been carrying. We delivered an MBoM release team and a downstream consumption tactical team to set up the process end-to-end across PLM, ERP, MES and the quality management system.

MBoM release team

  • Structured the client's MBoM and established the process of creating, approving, and releasing MBoM components
  • After building the initial MBoM, trained the client's team and completed a full process handover in one month

Downstream consumption tactical team

  • Followed each MBoM part release out of the PLM and into ERP, MES and the quality management system
  • Worked closely with system admins to scrutinise the integration process and adjust so that data was consumed appropriately downstream
